View from the throne room of Schloss Neuschwanstein in Bavaria, Germany. No retouching done at all. Lucky to be in the right place at the right time, just wish I’d had more than a 3MP camera with me at the time.
Crazy King Ludwig pretty much bankrupted Bavaria through his building projects. This particular castle is a modern wonder, featuring indoor plumbing, central heating and other amenities not commonly available at the time of construction (1800’s). This castle is the one that inspired Cinderella’s castle at Disneyland and for the movie.
